Almost 43% of kids have been bullied online. 1 in 4 has had it happen more than once. More than 80% of teens use a cell phone regularly, making it the most common medium for cyber bullying. 68% of  teenagers agree that cyber bullying is wrong. 81% of the young population think cyber bullying is a serious problem. WHAT CAN BE THE EFFECT OF INSTAGRAM?

Is instagram making teenagers worse than they already are? It may not seem like it. Teenagers use instagram to build up popularity. They post pictures of themselves and friends at different events and occasions. But, sometimes they post other things. The world today, is a very graphic place. They sometimes think that if one person does something, they have to do it too. This is because of peer-pressure. They feel that they need to fit in... due to bullying, fear of being excluded, and separation from so called "friends". Cyberbullying can put a big toll on a teenagers self-esteem. It can sometimes take lives. Be sure to stay safe on the internet. Before you post, if you wouldn't do it in person don't do it online.
